Poem for a best friend
Loud and quiet, we make quite the pair,
Wherever you go, I follow you there.
We've grown up a lot since we first met,
Each other's shadow, our own silhouette.
From dressing up, and dressing down,
To partying and nights on the town.
We've had the good times and the bad,
Calm each other down when we get mad.
We spend way too long talking online,
Facebook to us is like a holy shrine.
If we scream at horror films, we scream as one,
And always get scared before the movie's begun.
Your music taste is so similar to mine,
Although half the time we live on cloud nine.
